This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION and will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of the final price. There is NO "buy it now" price so please do not ask.

Up for auction is a 1979 Bertram 35 Sportfisher with twin Cummins 555 V 8 diesels that is located in Marina Del Rey, CA. It was donated to a national charitable foundation. It is in good condition and shows some minor aesthetic wear as to be expected on a 30 year old boat. Surprisingly the wear is limited to cosmetic issues and there are no real signs of any physical or mechanical issues other than what is shown in the photos. For the most part the vessel appears to have been well kept and is certainly in sea worthy and solid condition. The engines start/run but we do not have any information on recent service history, last rebuild, etc. However, a survey was performed by a licensed marine surveyor on August 10, 2009 and details the condition of the vessel in its entirety. The main report has been copied below.

Since the boat was donated there is no further information other than what is provided here. The marine survey is the only inspection of the vessel. The auction will start at $500.00 with no reserve. inspected for compliance with U.S.C.G., N.F.P.A., and A.B.Y.C. standards
