1985 Boston Whaler Montauk Commercial Picture(s) and Description:

1985 Boston Whaler Montauk Commercial Vehicle Description 1985 Montauk Commercial 'red dot' Boston Whaler, original Boston Whaler HD trailer, special ordered tow tower, custom fitted cover, 1985 100XP Evinrude, Tempo 12 gal gas tanks, even the orig battery box pretty much as it left the factory in 85'. spent 95% of its life in fresh water in Ohio. I bought it from the second owner, and brought it to Long Island. We used it one season for wake boarding around Stony Brook/Setauket. It sat for years in Ohio in a garage, so I spent $700 getting it tuned to run absolute trouble free new water pump, carbs rebuilt, complete tune up. Mechanic commented that the motor looks almost new. Boat is overall in excellent condition, worst gel spidering is the lip under the front hatch where the it bangs and the hatch needs to be tightened. There are tiny chips here and there, that are to small to show in pictures. The trailer has been in salt water twice once when I launched the boat, the second when I took it out this year. I never got a chance to shine it up, but wet, it looks amazing. I intended to keep this boat forever, but cirmstances force sale. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff, so just e mail with questions. Paul
