1999 Skeeter ZX18 Aluminum 75 Mercury Picture(s) and Description:

1999

I have had this boat for a couple of years. I spent alot of time on the water the year I had it, but it has been sitting under cover for the past year. I fgured I should see if I ain't going to use it. This is a great boat to fish out of. The 75 horse motor runs out real strong. It has a SS Stalitto prop on it. I haven't had a compression test done on it. I bought off a guy up by the Lake of Ozarks and he had one done before I bought it off him. I don't remember what the reading were, but it had good compression. I fish mostly smaller lakes around here, so the big motor wasn't run a whole lot. There was some repair work before I bought the boat. He told me he hit a rock and tore a hole in the bottom of the boat. It was professionaly repaired by a boat shop up that way. They welding job looks pretty good. The carpet on the left front storage locker was burnt. I never got around to fixing it. It don't show or hurt anything. The don't leak at all. I have fished it from early in the morning to dark, and there is very little water comes out after I take the plug put. That is all of the bad stuff. The boat has three batteries in it. I replaced them not long after I bought the boat. The tires on the trailer are good shape. It has two Eagle 168's on it. One up front and one by the drivers consule. The trolling motor is a 12/24 volt 56lb. Motor Guide. It also has tilt and trim that works great. The seats are all in pretty good shape. The drivers seat has small hole in the front. I think it is mold or something on the seats from sitting. I did a quick wash job on them today and got alot of it off of them. There is still some on the seats. I think with a little effort, they may come clean. This thing really good on fuel. Like I said, I fish alot of smaller lakes around here. I can fill up the tank and may not fill it up again for a month or longer. The motor is a 1993 model. I was told it came off a Pontoon boat he had. I run great and has never been abused by me. I would usually take it to about 4000 rpm and enjoy the ride. I have had out on Lake Sardis several times. This is pretty good size lake. The boat is very stable and you will feel very confident out on the big water. The trailer is a very good trailer. It pulls very good. I used to have Toyota 4Runner with a V6 and it pull the boat just fine. It don't take alot of truck to pull it. I have tried to cover everything I can thing of about the boat. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the boat. I may be able to deliver within 300 miles at $1.25 a mile.On Mar-30-10 at 05:49:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had this boat for a couple of years.
