THIS IS A GREAT FISHING BOAT WITH A PROVEN HULL. ALL THE FISHBOXES, COMPARTMENTS, HULL AND NON-SKID SURFACES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THERE IS ALSO A PORTA POTTIE IN THE HEAD COMPARTMENT. Engines are clean and lower units good. It looks like motors were maintained profesionally and used for 125 hours. There is no hour meter installed but we hooked up the Merc computer to find out the hours. Boat has incredible amount of cockpit space. You can have up to 10 people on board and there would still be room to play around. Having a deep cockpit is also great if you have kids on board. Transom door also helps a lot. You would be very safe even in bad weather. Its also very wide for its size. Boat has four very large fishboxes. The rigging quality on this boat is very good and the hull is solid. We have never seen so many compartments and storage places on a center console this size. Boat has all the cushions inlcuding bow cushions, all coaming pads. This boat has lots of convenient fishing features. It has a very good layout and a cool design. You would always be very safe even in bad weather in a SEA FOX. The bow area is excellent for families. This is also a fishing machine with some serious standard fishing features. The features include a 40-gallon aerated livewell, four stainless steel flush-mount rod holders, room for six rods under the gunwales, two large insulated cockpit fishboxes. and raw- and freshwater washdowns. The two hatches in the cockpit sole open to reveal removable 4'6"-by-1'-by-1' insulated fishboxes. The elevated forward casting deck is low enough to keep you from tumbling while casting. Snap on the cushions, though, and the casting deck becomes a decent forward seating area. It's one of the ways Sea Fox tries to make the 257 CC more family-friendly. Others include the telescoping three-step swim ladder, walkthrough door in the transom, standard portable MSD in the roomy 5'9"-high head, and 94-quart removable cooler that doubles as a bench forward of the console. The Mercury power is very popular and having two motors gives you more power and advantage when fishing offshore. Having two motors is always better than having just one, in the case once malfunctions you always have the second engine to get you out of your situation. Twin Mercury 135 Optimaxs are very fuel efficient, very powerful and they are known by their ratability. Overall, this boat is in very good running condition. Hull is very good and it shines like new. The black bottom paint looks great. Motors run great and compression is perfect. This boat is completely ready to be used, turn key!
