As with all bank repos I sell, I describe items to the best of my ability and with as much research done as possible to the condition of the unit.I do encourage you to come and take a look and see for yourself the condition or send someone you trust to inspect the unit. Item must be picked up within 7 days of auction end unless prior arrangements are made. After 7 days, we will store unit at a rate of $15 per day. Please Bid to Win!! 2008 Skeeter Bass Boat w/Yamaha 250 V-Max This boat was used in tournament fishing and overall is in good condition. However, there are issues that need to be pointed out. Obviously the boat was not garage kept or covered the majority of the time. The GPS/Depth finder that goes into the center console is missing, as well as the 2 casting deck seats. The center seats are worn and crack and could stand to be recovered to get a new look. I had the motor checked out by a marine mechanic and he certified that the engine was in excellent condition, with 92 or better compression on all cylinders. However, a couple of the batteries are weak and will probably need replacing. There is also a short somewhere in the charging system that you plug into a 110 outlet that keeps a trickle charge going on your batteries. There is one light on the trailer fender that is missing a lens, but should be replaceable at any auto parts store. The jack that lifts the trailer off your hitch will need to replaced as it appears to be stripped out. Tires on trailer will need to be replaced in the near future but will last a few more hundred miles. With that being said, there are plenty of positives to go with the outfit. Engine alone is worth several thousand dollars, and it is a Skeeter, one of the premiere boats on the water. The reb, black and silver metalfake finish, with an eye-popping red metalflake trailer make it stand out on the water. Spending a few hundred dollars to get it up to new condition would be well worth the investment for a boat that will last a lifetime. And would save you THOUSANDS over the price of a new boat!
