Here is a clean 1987 16 foot Bass Tracker. This boat has been refurbished completely. The following Items were upgraded or replaced: * New no feedback steering cable * New bilge pump * New bait well pump * New front, rear navigation lights and courtesy lights * New fuel filters * New aluminum welded transom and brace supports * New Trailer swing jack * All new boat wiring and switches * Newer carpet and wood decks * New trolling motor plugs * New driving seat and passenger seat * New Speedo and Tach. The speedo works but the tach is not wired up. * New volt meter I bought this boat two years ago and my buddy and I rebuilt the boat as a project. He recently bought a Scout and now we use his boat to go bass fishing. Bass Tracker makes a nice boat but it is no Scout. The Nissan motor has power tilt and trim and it starts right up. With two people on the boat it will go 38 mph once you get it trimmed just right. It is scary fast for this boat. We cleaned out the carbs and checked the compression is fine on the motor. I have never put this boat in salt water and there is no evidence that it has ever been in salt water. I purchased the boat from a guy that used it for bass fishing the interior parts of Florida (Plant City). I will add weblinks to youtube for videos of the motor running. Some times there is a slight sputtering but this motor will flat out "haul the.... mail". This sputtering is most likely caused by some older fuel in the tank or a carb adjustment. I don't use this boat anymore and I do not want it just sitting around collecting dust. The boat has a live well under the passenger seat and another well/cooler under the driver's seat. I do not have the plug for the live well . The bow mounted trolling motor works great and it has plently of power for this boat. The foot control works great. There are two batteries in the boat. One in the back for the motor and accessaries and one under the front deck for the trolling motor. I even put extra foam flotation under the front deck. There is storage under the front deck and under the rear deck. As you can see there are fishing rod holders on the front deck and on the passenger gunwale. It can hold six poles in the new holders. The fishing poles are not included with the boat. There is a picture of the gunwale that had a small hole the size of a BB. I used JB weld/ liquid metal to seal it. It is rock hard. This is a welded and riveted boat and so it does leak a smalll amount, but that is why it has a bilge pump. You can fish all day and it would only be a small amount of water in the bottom. The trailer is galvinized and in good shape. It has good tires and bearing buddies on the rims. It pulls down the road nicely and I would not hesitate on towing it several hundred miles. I recently drove it over two hundred miles round trip to go fishing at Rainbow River (awesome). I have the title for the boat and I can give you a copy of the registration for the trailer. Florida does not have titles for trailers anymore. Look at the pictures and then ask any questions that you may have. The boat can be seen by appointment. * This boat is sold as is. It is a used boat. Everything works on the boat at this time. I can help with shipping and I can deliver this boat for $.50 per a mile round trip.
