However the cables for controls and steering would need to be replaced. Also the livewell pumps and trolling motor wirers from the batteries. They quoted me 1500.00 to get back on the lake and 2500.00 for everything. So if you know boats and can do some of the work your self this could be a cheep fix for you. You are looking at a 1998 16ft Tracker Sprortsman aluminum boat with a 2002 Tohatsu 4 stroke outboard motor. The boat also has a Minn Kota 40 LB thrust trolling motor and a Lowrance X47 depth finder. Boat comes with 2 fuel tanks, a 4 gallon and a 6 gallon, Velcro rod holders and a 12 volt battery. The trailer is in good condition with 3 new tires installed late last season and as the boat was kept in a slip last year and not transported on a regular basis they are still like new. Also the trailer had new L.E.D waterproof lights put on it last year. This boat is in very solid and good condition with absolutely no leaks of any kind. There is some paint worn off of some areas of the floor which doesn't effect the performance. The swivel seats are showing some minor signs of wear but still have a season or two left in them. There is also a extension that I use on the front seat that also comes with the boat that I use from time to time. The trolling motor was installed about 4 years ago but has hardly ever been used because I really never mastered the foot pedal very well and I can truthfully say that there are probably less the 10 hours of use on the trolling motor. The rod holders work ok but they also are showing some signs of wear and may need to be replaced next year. There is what they call a live well in the center seat of this boat but I use it mainly for storage or a cooler because you really need 3 fair size people in this boat to make it sit low enough in the water for it to fill properly. The outboard motor runs VERY GOOD and is very economical to operate. It doesn't have a electric start but it starts very easily with the pull start and runs very quiet. A electric start kit can be purchased for thsi motor but I never thought that it was needed. This motor is a perfect match for that boat and it moves the boat along just great with 2 normal size people in it. The motor will run at idle speed all day long which I use it for most of my trolling. The Lowrance depth finder works just fine and even though it is not the top of the line but it did all that I need it to do for my type of fishing. I am the second owner of the boat that I purchased from a friend of mine who bought it new and only ran it with a small hand trolling motor in rivers and streams. This will make someone a very good boat and last them a very long time. It is very easy to load and unload by myself which I do a lot and it handles very good even in choppy water. I have the manuals for the boat, motor and trolling motor which goes along with the boat. The reason that I am selling this boat is that I have purchased a Pontoon boat and I really won't get any use out of it if I keep it. Beautiful hull and almost new motor. This rig comes with everything....sonar,compass, top,livewell and a $500 stainless steel prop. It's a one owner who wore out the original motor and replaced it with this Yamaha. Never in saltwater and iust used when the grandkids came to visit. I still have the books that came with it new.
