ITEM DESCRIPTION : 1995 Grady White 26' Center Console "CC III" There is no trailer for this vessel, it is dry stored at a marina with monthly stroage at $220/month The Owners hired a marine surveyor: There was a survey done december 16, 2009 - although not very conclusive, the survey, along with my inspection should give prospective buyer a real accurate idea of boat. I hired a Marine mechanic to evaluate the motors: Powered by twin mercury black max - 150 hp motors - compression check was done on 12/12/10 by a professional marine mechanic, showing 108,110,110,115, on starboard motor and 104,105,104,110 on port. Please note - “fogging oil†being sprayed into cylinders prior to turning over the motors. Spark was present at both motors. She would turn over, but did not fire during his inspection of motors. He did not introduce fresh gas, just tried to fire as it was. Because the motors did not fire there are many unknowns still on the motors. Outdrives were engaged for both forward and reverse, they did go into both gears, but there are still unknowns with them, until the motors run. This vessel has not been out running for over 5 years, it did get a tow in because both motors stalled. Mechanic believes the issue to be fuel related, suggesting cleaning the carbs, checking the fuel tanks, flushing tanks, and adding new fuel. HULL – Has soft area, with poor resonation, port forward of the transom. It's about a 2 foot section. Bottom is due for painting. A noticable "backyard" repair made port at transom, you can see the repair in the pics. Port aft compartment has some damage, and is in need of repair, it’s still usable, but needs attention. Floors are solid, nice! Cushions are usable but in older, dried out condition. Seating is all sturdy, with plenty of areas for fishing buddies. Head is a private area below the center console with an entrance on the starboard side, with a lockable door for privacy. The floor is real dirty(it’s all fiberglass and should clean up fine, but it’s pretty nasty right now). Center console is in good shape, with plenty of equipment: Humming Bird fish finder Apelco 5160 vhf(broken antenna) Lowrance LMS 350A GPS 120 XL Compass Pioneer Cd Player This info along with the page of the survey posted, should give you a real good idea of what we are offering here. The criteria are: total economic life (effective age), average fair wear and tear, ordinary depreciation of vessel and equipment, condition and replacement cost of like kind vessel rated in the following categories: The CONDITION is Rated by Surveyor using these peramiters: Bristol (60-70), Excellent (45-60), Average (35-45), Below average (30-35), Poor is all below 25. ENGINES AND MACHINERY: Includes general house keeping, general maintenance, maintenance records ad overall appearance of machinery and machinery spaces. Mercury outboards are in questionable condition, motors were not run. SCORE: 4 INTERIOR: Includes general condition, general house keeping and upgrades. Interior/head and cockpit requires comprehensive detailing and upgrading of upholstery. SCORE: 4 EXTERIOR: Includes general appearance and condition of the above water line exterior finish and condition of deck gear and joinery. Some laminate damage and wet core noted to the port topside at the transom, with isolated areas of poor resonation and high moisture on the starboard side. SCORE: 5 BOTTOM: Bottom appeared to be sound with no obvious laminate anomalies or damage noted. SCORE: 7 ELECTRONICS: Includes electronic equipment age and condition. Electronics inventory is considered to be average. SCORE: 5 AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT: Includes permanently installed auxiliary equipment. Age, condition and inventory are considered. Hydraulic steering was inoperable and requires service. Port side trim tab is damaged. SCORE: 5 OVERALL APPEARANCE AND CONDITION: An evaluation of the condition of the vessel in its present condition and how it might compare to similar vessels currently on the retail market. Boat is in below average condition. SCORE: 4 TOTAL VESSEL SCORE: 34 This score is only one opinion, and after this survey, A professional Marina Mechanic was hired for a more extensive evaluation of the motors. If info from marine mechanic was added I think this “score†would be higher. This boat does have a cover, it is currently stored below and in fair condition. Grady Whites are well known and sought after for there "unsinkable" trait and being a great center console, although this one has some issues that need to be dealt with, it will be a great buy at any Ebay price.
