The 250hp 2-stroke engine was a factory option, which gives the 2390 has a top speed of 46-mph, and an incredible range of 467 miles at cruising speed! The single 250Hp was a factory fishing option for offshore fuel economy. You will be hard pressed to find another one for sale, as most hard core salt water fisherman who own them... tend to keep them. I have had this boat in some pretty rough seas and unlike other boats (Proline,Sea Fox, Mako, etc) the Vector does not "tweek" or make groaning noises from hull stress. What makes them so tough... is that Hydra-Sports Vectors have Kevlar reinforced hulls. Also, the innovative hull design provides a very smooth ride and comes up on plane very quickly. The hull is in nearly perfect condition with no bottom paint. The interior is OK and as could be expected for a fishing boat; a few stitches are loose, a few hook/fin holes, UV, and a very small shark bite in a gunwale bolster. I got a quote of $500 to recover the seats and sew up the loose stitching. The T-Top canvas is tight and in very good shape. 2390 Vectors weigh in at an amazing 4,980 pounds...nearly twice as much as some other manufacturer's brands of the same length and class...The boat it is a serious brute.
