Ranger 520 DVX 225 OptiMax
2000 Ranger 520 DVX Mercury 225 OptiMax Powerhead replaced in 2006, upgraded injectors and Carbon Fiber Reeds, approx. 140 hours on this boat. This boat shows and runs like new. Upgraded to 36 volt Motorguide Digital troll motor, recessed foot pedal upgrade (both less than a year ago), Hot Foot, Hambys, LMS 522 color GPS/Sonar in dash, Zercom flasher at drivers console, lowrance sonar recessed in bow console, on board charger, two fishing chairs and one bike seat. Engine service just completed, compression good on all cylinders, lower unit oil just changed. Run Mercury Premium Plus oil, Mercury Quick Clean in every tank. Carpet and seats in excellent original condition, Gel Coat shines like new! Everything works, all lights, gauges, pumps, horn, etc. There is a hairline crack above rub rail on starboard rear (see photo) from a dock bump. It is not through the glass and I was told that repair would be minimal but not necessary. I had to take three photos to get it to show. Trailer (tandem axle) just had hub oil changed, two tires show some wear but good for many miles, just rotated tires. Has original road cover which has some fading but works. The road cover is the one piece style that also covers the motor. Motor cowl was repainted due to some cover rubs and new stickers applied. If your looking for a good solid tournament boat you won't be disappointed. I bought this boat in California to use when I was there, it has been garage kept and shows it. I brought it here to Illinois a few months ago and have clear title for boat and trailer. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures.
